Great Intro to Horse Terms, Breeds, etc
This book is jammed packed with lots of great color photos and info. I was looking for a book to learn about horses since I never been around them from growing up in the city and now I'm needing to learn about them since I want to be a veterinarian and it goes over terminology, colors and markings, skeletel, muscular and other systems of the horse, types of horses, equipment, etc all matched with great color photos. Its only 64 pages but what a great foundation.

For My Family, Love, Allie
Published in School & Library Binding by Albert Whitman & Co (October, 1998)
Authors: Ellen B. Senisi and Kathy Tucker
Average review score:

Great book for families!
This is a really fun book for kids and parents to share together. The book revolves around Allie finding something she can give her family members at a get-together. She and her mom find a no-bake recipe for cookies that is perfect! Although never plainly stated, the focus here is on the importance of family in our lives. Everyone brings something to the get-together and Allie wants to show her love in the same way. Another plus for this book...the use of a REAL multiracial, multigenerational family.

God on His Haunches
Published in Paperback by Nightwood Editions (June, 1997)
Author: Diane L. Tucker
Average review score:

Rich, imaginative poetry that can pack an emotional punch
This little volume of poetry has become like a dear companion to me. I always reccommend it to my friends. I've learned, however, to keep it safely in my bag when in airport lounges or other public places.

These poems can at times be playful, sharp and delightful - making me laugh out loud. Some of them (depending upon the weather, perhaps ... or the time-zone) can just as swiftly cut me open, causing a messy spillage of emotion.

Whether it's the delicious decription of a friend's shirt left at her house (Julia, your shirt), or the beautiful sadness of a winter scene (Deciduous), Diane L. Tucker's poems will linger in your memory and your soul - like a dear companion - long after you set the book down.

Twice as Nice!
GOING IN STYLE--Bonnie Tucker

Suzanne Mercer only has a month to live...at least that's what she thinks. So what's a girl to do? If she's logic-loving Suzie, she's going to make her plans and go after her one heart's desire, namely Griffin Scott, her sexy, next-door neighbor and best friend. This is where the fun starts. Orderly Suzy prepares for the seduction and...well, things don't go as planned. Even her death doesn't go as planned. And Suzie's untimely survival will keep the reader laughing in this laugh-a-minute story of true love. Once again, Bonnie Tucker shines!

I LOVE LACY--Lori Wilde

Lacy Calder believes in one true, predestined love. And when hers walks into her hospital, Lucy's got six weeks to convince him he can't live without her, because she knows she can't live without him. And with her "helpful" family and Frank Sinatra (a fainting goat) by her side, she just might stand a chance of convincing Bennett Sheridan that he loves Lacy! Lori Wilde gives readers a "wild" ride they won't forget!
